I know this is going to be a great trip, as shortly after I left, I was treated to the most spectacular orange moon I have ever seen!  Who wouldn't see that as a great omen?  Although the camera phone usually does a great job, this time it failed to capture the beauty that was so rare.  I have to say, it's one of the few times I wished I had lugged a dedicated camera, needing its own trolley cart.
