5 days left until my 55th birthday! |
Soon I'll be a speed limit! Some might think this is not to be advertised, but the way I look at it, every day I'm above ground is a day to celebrate. From the moment we are born, we all are on a path that will eventually lead to a dead-end. The difference is the journey. So, I believe every year is to be celebrated and this year I would like to invite you to help me decide how? Below is a poll that will be open until October, 3rd at 11:55pm. Please vote (it's anonymous) for your favorite way to celebrate 55! Either choose from the list below, or add a new "entry" by posting a comment. Remember though, the poll is open for 5 days only!
The choices are:
#1 "Collect" 55 Supercharger pics, like:
#2 Obtain 55 new smashed pennies, like:
#3Drink 55... Oh, no, no, no.

I think you should do the 55 drinks lol. BTW we have a connection, I'm in the electrical trade too, although just an electrician, not an engineer :)
ReplyDeleteWatt? Another electron chaser? Marvelously shocking! ;D
DeleteSince U'r on a health kick now --- How about 55 laps on one of the great lakes!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness there are 5 of them for me to choose from! I like having the geographical range by which I can try to accomplish it.
DeleteMake 55 circuits from a 555 timer!
ReplyDelete"MAKE" 55 circuits...That's a lot! Hmmm, timers, switches, pulse width modulation apps... Golly, I hope no one requests that AND the one-arm push-ups to be performed simultaneously.
Delete55 one-arm push-ups ... with each arm?
ReplyDeleteI tried it this evening. This one might take the whole 365 days to perfect. Will post a pic soon.
DeleteDo those things on this trip that you would not normally do at home. Go sky diving.
ReplyDeleteGot this one! Will post a pic soon.
DeleteHow about a drive along Route 55? Route 66 will have to wait a few more years...;-0
ReplyDeleteBtw, you (and your Tesla) are looking great!
Thx for keeping a blog - it's nice to see Tesla's being used in creative ways.
My Tesla is showing up in 1 or 2 more days - just in time for my 46th birthday. I can hardly wait (for the Tesla, that is)!
Love this one. I drove into Chicago on Route 55 so I already have this one checked off the list! Congrats on your new Tesla and Happy Birthday fellow Libra!
DeleteIf I understand correctly, October 3rd is your big day -- so let me be either the first or a day early in say, Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteWow! You are up early and are indeed the first to extend a HB. Thank you!
DeleteYea I got my iPhone 6 yesterday and had some issues - woke up thinking about the issues and no way to get back to sleep. Dog tired tonight - I will sleep well. I really like the leave idea. As a kid we collected fall leaves, put them between sheets of wax paper and ironed them. That preserved the color and flattened them. I just know in your camping gear you have both an iron and an ironing board.
DeleteSince U'r all about the enviroment, and since your all about good health, which leads one to believe U'r all abour saftey, and since I have had the unforgetfull experience of riding in the passenger seat of U'r Carra .... I respectfully suggest that you conduct the rest of U'r "Journey" at a speed limit not to exceed 55MPH !!!
ReplyDeleteBOC
Deal! ...but just one caveat, only when you're in the passenger's seat ;D
ReplyDeletepick up 55 beautiful leaves when you hit New England Press them and enjoy for years! judy
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love it! Great idea. So glad you thought of it!
DeleteSorry, I'm not sure why it wouldn't post. I've double checked the permissions and they're wide open. Here's your suggestion: Be-jouled
ReplyDeleteI wasn't having any luck commenting on your blog, so here's my message.
Hike the 55 acre Independence Nat'l Historical Park in Philadelphia. See the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall.
Or...Hike the Dingman's Falls Trail at the Delaware Water Gap. It is an easy trail with an elevation of 55'.
Happy Birthday!
